Behind the Image
Candor
While walking the streets of Tokyo, Japan you’re almost overwhelmed by how much there is to see and experience. When Candor was photographed I remember just looking up and having the city around me go quiet. I was just blown away by the architecture of the city and this shot reminds me of that very feeling.
This is truly a candid photograph that’s so frank and unapologetically honest. It is what it is and that’s a truly stunning building in the center of an equally stunning city. It was seemingly built with the intention of being admired and I feel that admiration every time I look at this photograph.
