Chosen Path is a stunning fine art photography print that beautifully captures a moment of indecision. The leading lines and the duality of light and dark space in this black and white photograph all take the viewer of this image to a moment of decision in their own life. This image was photographed in Kyoto, Japan by photographer Aileen Sideris. Chosen Path is about a moment when you the viewer has to decide what to do and where your chosen path truly lies.
Behind the Image
Chosen Path
Everyday in life we’re faced with a myriad of options and opportunities. The paths we go down on a day to day basis will eventually lead us to particular destinations. It’s mind-boggling to consider all of the possibilities that are offered to all of us every single day. So which ones should we choose?
Taken in Japan, this is what I saw when I photographed Chosen Path. I saw the many directions we can all go in, but wondered, how do you know which one will take you where you want to go? The heart wants what it wants, and to me as long as you follow the thing you love you’ll likely end up some place even more beautiful than where you started.
