Behind the Image

Imperial Walk

Taken in Tokyo, Japan, the Tokyo Imperial Palace is the main residence of the Emperor of Japan. The grounds were massive and such a treat for me since I was a first time visitor to the country. I found myself feeling quite small while walking across these enormous grounds.

I was surprised to find that the Imperial Palace was in the center of the city. While you’re walking around these grounds you feel so connected to nature that you almost forget the city is just beyond the Palace walls.

Within the Imperial Palace grounds are a number of gardens, museums, and temples. I felt so relaxed here and for the first time wasn’t in a rush while being in the center of the city.

Our In Homes gallery takes you inside homes and offices, giving you a feel of what each print will feel like inside your own home or office.
