Behind the Image
During one of my many walks around Tokyo, Japan, I found myself wandering through a part of the city I didn’t know I’d be visiting. I ended up walking through these small streets situated between peoples houses.
The plants were so beautifully overgrown and the streets so clean, suffice it to say I was more than pleasantly surprised by this unexpected detour. Although I was just visiting, somehow I did feel like I was at home here.
I admired the direct connection between the city and nature, these beautiful homes were just a short distance away from the center of the city. I felt like I was home, and while traveling that’s a rare feeling to experience, but Tokyo made it happen.
