Behind the Image

I was in the middle of Tokyo, Japan, standing underneath a giant Weeping Willow tree thinking “how did I get here?”. It was an incredibly surreal moment to me and one that I never thought I’d have the pleasure of experiencing, yet here I was.

There were these plants with giant leaves surrounding the Willow tree and beyond these plants was a temple, and then the city. What an interesting mix of culture, faith, and nature. I was already so taken aback with Tokyo, but this moment sealed the deal.
